CRSTRA Challenge Days 2018

Under the auspices of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the General Directorate of Scientific Research and Technological Development, the Scientific and Technical Research Center on Arid Regions in partnership with the National Agency of Valorization results of Research and Technological Development, initiated from 23 to 25 October 2018, the first edition of the Startup Challenge «RegaridInnov.dz" under the theme "Smart Agriculture, for a Sustainable Food Security».

Algeria put a lot on sustainable food security, so any effort or initiative to achieve this goal is strongly supported and encouraged. By launching this challenge, we aim to contribute to the development of the country, propel young talents towards entrepreneurship and supporting them for an effective realization of the idea and to the startup.

To whom this challenge is aimed ?

• You are young researchers, teacher-researchers, students, project promoters who wish to commit in the competition; a wide panel is proposed for you
• You can get started and present your innovative idea for the chosen theme.

• Precision gricultural Machinsm,
• Reasoned fertilization of crops,
• Protection of crops (localized treatments, biopesticides.. ),
• Irrigation water treatment,,
• Recycling of crop and composting wastes,
• Valorization of biomaterials,
• Renewable energies in agriculture,
• Agri-food transformation and valorization
• Conservation of food products,
• Traceability of agricultural products
• Engeneering of training

Agenda

All participants must respect the dates of registration and submission of projects in accordance with the deadlines set out below:

• Launch of the event and opening of submissions: 01 April 2018;
• Closing date of submissions: 29 November 2018 ;
• Date of the Challenge 10-11 December 2018.
