يُعقد المؤتمر الدولي الثاني حول المكافحة البيولوجية والمتكاملة في الجزائر (CILBIA2) والاجتماع العلمي لفريق الدراسة التابع للمنظمة الدولية للمكافحة البيولوجية (IOBC) حول الحماية المتكاملة لنخيل التمر، في ظل التحديات البيئية المعاصرة، والتغيرات المناخية المتسارعة التي تهدد المنظومات الزراعية، خصوصًا في المناطق القاحلة وشبه القاحلة. ويهدف هذا الحدث العلمي البارز إلى تعزيز سُبل المكافحة البيولوجية والمتكاملة كخيار استراتيجي بديل ومستدام لحماية النباتات والزراعات، والحد من الاعتماد المفرط على المبيدات الكيميائية، بما ينسجم مع مبادئ الصحة الواحدة (One Health) التي تربط بين صحة الإنسان، الحيوان، والنظم البيئية. كما يشكّل المؤتمر منصة لتبادل الخبرات بين الباحثين والمختصين من مختلف الدول، ودفع عجلة البحث العلمي في مجال حماية نخيل التمر، باعتباره ثروة فلاحية واقتصادية وثقافية متميزة في الجزائر والعالم العربي.
