On Tuesday, April 15, 2025, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Mr. Kamel Baddari, conducted a field visit to the Scientific and Technical Research Centre on Arid Regions (CRSTRA). The visit included the inauguration of the first animal feed production unit developed by the center, the result of a national patent achieved thanks to the efforts of its researchers and engineers. This innovative product is 100% Algerian, manufactured and marketed locally, with high nutritional quality and competitive pricing.
The minister also oversaw the signing of commercial partnership agreements between the center and several economic partners, reflecting the center's commitment to strengthening collaboration between scientific research and the economic sector. The visit concluded with a tour of the center’s facilities, during which the minister praised the efforts of researchers and engineers, encouraging them to continue their path of innovation.
