On November 9 and 10, 2025, CRSTRA Biskra hosted the International Specialized Axis on Integrated Management of Date Palm Diseases as part of the preparations for the Second International Conference on Biological and Integrated Control in Algeria. The event welcomed international experts from the IOBC working group, featuring sessions on the latest methods for diagnosing and controlling serious date palm diseases, including the use of AI, modeling, remote sensing, GIS, biopesticides, nanotechnology, and plant extracts. The sessions included rich scientific discussions among experts, researchers, and students, enhancing international cooperation and supporting future research. The event concluded with a working group meeting, reappointing Professor Waqas as chair, and expressing thanks to CRSTRA staff and all contributors for the success of the scientific event.
