On November 3, 2025, the organizing committee of the 2nd International Conference on Biological and Integrated Control in Algeria held a coordination meeting at CRSTRA Biskra’s meeting hall to prepare for the conference scheduled from November 12 to 14, 2025. The meeting focused on finalizing tasks and ensuring smooth operations for all conference stages and parallel events, especially the session dedicated to biological control of date palm diseases, which will precede the main conference with participation from international experts of the IOBC working group. The committee chair and vice-chair emphasized the importance of full task awareness, adherence to schedules, and close collaboration among committees to ensure the highest standards of quality and organization.
