On October 15, 2025, CRSTRA Biskra participated in the International Day of Rural Women under the slogan 'Empowering Rural Women for a Diverse Agriculture and Promising Local Economy', held at the Traditional Industry House in Biskra. The center was represented by Engineer Jedidi Mouahib and a team of female researchers from the Economic Development Department. The CRSTRA booth displayed local natural products including oils extracted from medicinal plants, saffron-based health products, argan products, and high-quality natural cosmetics. The participation aimed to support rural women and highlight their role in preserving biodiversity and advancing the local economy through sustainable use of natural resources.
