Supervised by the Director of the Scientific and Technical Research Center for Arid Regions (CRSTRA), Professor Kachbar Mohamed Saif Allah, two working sessions were held on July 22, 2025, gathering representatives of CRSTRA with the Strategy for Strategic Agricultural Development (DCAS) and the Algerian Red Meat Company (ALVIAR) at their headquarters in Algiers. The sessions aimed to implement a pilot plan to apply sheep feed developed by CRSTRA researchers to livestock herds, improve research-based products, and enhance feed quality, with periodic monitoring to assess the impact on meat quality. The initiative reflects CRSTRA's efforts to transform research outcomes into field applications supporting livestock development, especially sheep farming.
