After completing her Ph.D at the University of Science and Technology of Languedoc (Montpelier II, France). She moved to the University Mohamed Kheider Biskra in 1990 where she was fully committed to the training of young students in hydraulic and Agronomy.
She conducts research and development and outreach work across the low Sahara including environmental issues related to agricultural activities (water saving, prevention of pollution and integrated waste management) in the context of sustainable development.

In addition to these activities, she supervised a postgraduate diploma in hydraulic sciences between 1992 and 1994 and managing the Agriculture Department since its inception in 2001 until her appointment as head of the CRSTRA in 2006.

Since then ,she endeavor with the Centre’s crew and their partners to implement a research strategy from field feedback in order to meet the development needs of the arid and semi-arid areas while taking into account the monitoring and foresight..

In parallel to this very serious responsibility as a leadership of this center characterized by strategic significance and has a national and international importance.She contributes with dedication on several boards (CS, CS, CNE) and sectoral committees (monitoring SNAT / 2030 National Commission for Agriculture, Water Resources and Fishing of the National Research Programmes / PNR, ...).

She represented Algeria as a member of the Algerian delegation at various UN conferences (Biodiversity, Sustainable Development, Major Risks ...).

Her academic itinerary,her commitments in the territories and her researches in the field earned her prizes and honours. In 2001, she received the Educator's Award of the Year by the University of Biskra. In 2007, she won an honourable mention at the National Competition of the Environment and a recognition medal by the Wali of Biskra.

In March 2008, she was honored with a medal bestowed by His Excellency the President of the Algerian Republic Abdelaziz Bouteflika.

In 2009, she was awarded by a medal from the FAO and the IRA Medenine (Tunisia).
